Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Equine Sports Medicine Veterinarian to join our esteemed team. This role requires extensive expertise in equine gait evaluation, advanced imaging, orthopedic therapies, podiatry, diagnostics, and therapeutics. As a Sport Horse Veterinarian with Miller & Associates, you will work closely with top professionals and equine athletes, providing state-of-the-art care to elite show horses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care for high-performance sport horses, ensuring their health and competitive edge.
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, and Scintigraphy to diagnose and treat lameness and other performance issues.
  • Implement cutting-edge orthopedic therapies and podiatry solutions to support equine athletes' performance and longevity.
  • Work alongside a network of veterinary specialists, including Board-Certified Surgeons, Ophthalmologists, and Internists, to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Engage with clients to discuss diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and preventive care, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and trust.
  • Participate in extensive travel, including a six-month assignment in Wellington, Florida, to support our clients and their horses on the road.
Qualifications
  • DVM or VMD degree required. Veterinary internship experience is preferred; however, exceptional candidates with extensive equestrian backgrounds will be considered.
  • Welcoming international applicants from AVMA-accredited schools or those who have successfully completed the ECFVG.
