Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to lead our auditing process and ensure the successful completion of financial audits. As a Senior Auditor, you will possess a strong knowledge of auditing principles and procedures, with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the auditing process and ensure the successful completion of financial audits.
  • Draft audit comments and report issues to support findings identified during the fieldwork.
  • Assign duties and tasks to junior and staff auditors.
  • Manage associates and interns on the auditing process.
  • Analyze financial statements and identify audit-related issues.
  • Develop generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Interact with management to gather necessary information.
  • Review and resolve problems faced by staff auditors and make recommendations.
  • Perform various risk and control assessments.
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of junior auditors.
  • Perform and lead periodic assessment and testing of controls.
  • Train and guide internal auditors and control analysts.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits and submission of reports to the auditing manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience working as an Accountant, Senior Auditor, or a similar role.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing practices and procedures.
  • Exceptional knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a team of junior auditors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Precise and accurate attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and internal controls practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong skills in presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with information system concepts, terminology, and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
