Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and coordinate the transfer of patients to ensure timely, seamless, and safe transfers.
  • Collaborate with transfer parties to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Utilize knowledge of specialty services, EMTALA regulations, and transfer center processes to make informed decisions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate teamwork to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical standards and guidelines to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • 5 years of experience in nursing, with 2 years in critical care.
  • Advanced clinical assessment skills and knowledge of EMTALA regulations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work calmly in a stressful environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Experience in progressive leadership and training as a house coordinator.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of employment.
