Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking an experienced Per Diem EKG Technician to join our Cardiology Services team at our main hospital.

Role Overview:

As a Per Diem EKG Technician, you will be responsible for performing 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKGs), scanning 24-hour ambulatory monitoring hook-ups, and assisting physicians during stress tests to diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform 12-lead EKGs and scan 24-hour ambulatory monitoring hook-ups
  • Assist physicians during stress tests
  • Coordinate service calls and troubleshoot the Muse EKG system
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities, such as ordering supplies and compiling statistics
Requirements:
  • High School diploma and at least 1 year of vocational school
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing 12-lead EKGs and hook-ups for stress testing
  • Ability to read and interpret EKGs, including abnormal EKGs
Work Environment:

This is a per diem position, working 9 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 4 PM, 100% onsite at our main hospital location in NYC.

Supervisor, Cardiovascular Lab

Pay Range:

$39.87
