Job Summary:

As a Nurse Infusion Specialist at Upstate University Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications and treatments via infusion, assessing patients' conditions, and developing individualized care plans. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of patient services.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with daytime hours. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year's experience in medical/surgical nursing, preferably in an outpatient setting. A valid NYS RN license and current BLS certification are mandatory requirements. We also value candidates with prior experience in a specialty area, such as rheumatology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments via infusion
  • Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of patient services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • NYS licensed/registered RN
  • At least one year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Prior experience in an outpatient setting strongly preferred
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday daytime hours
