Job Opportunity

Scher & Scher Law Group, PA is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support litigation efforts by preparing and filing legal documents with courts as needed.
  • Assist in creating drafts of pleadings, responses to discovery requests, and various motions.
  • Manage calendars, organize travel arrangements, track deadlines, and oversee expenses for attorneys.
  • Coordinate and confirm deposition schedules, preparing as necessary.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails, and faxes.
  • Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems efficiently.
  • Be available for on-site work as required.
  • Assist in managing video conferencing requirements effectively.
  • Answer incoming calls and contribute to team efforts as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must consistently demonstrate punctuality and reliability in all aspects of work.
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication within the team.
  • Capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exhibit a high level of initiative in managing multiple priorities with exceptional judgment.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Personal Injury Litigation is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation for commuting to work.
  • Proficiency in using Zoom for virtual meetings.
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous but not mandatory.
