Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking qualified candidates for part-time associate faculty positions in the Business Department. As a member of our faculty team, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of business courses, including accounting, bookkeeping, business management, and entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, including evening, weekend, online, and hybrid courses.
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse student population.
- Maintain currency in field(s) of expertise and stay current with industry developments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities, such as committee work and professional development opportunities.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Business Education, Marketing, Public Administration, or Finance.
- OR Bachelor's degree in any of the previous areas AND Master's degree in Economics, Accountancy, Taxation, or Law.
- OR the equivalent.
- OR a fully satisfied (Life) California Community College Instructor's Credential in Business and Industrial Management.
- Requires a sensitivity to, and understanding of, the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
- Creative and innovative approaches to teaching and student learning.
- Depth of post-secondary teaching experience, specifically with community college students.
- Experience in developing online courses with a focus on student learning.
- Integration of technology and soft skills in curriculum.
- Ability to teach a variety of business courses as demonstrated by professional experience in the field or prior teaching experience.
- Demonstrated recent employment in both business and education.
- Ability to or experience in coordinating educational programs such as Business Office Technology, Entrepreneurship, or Paralegal.

Copies of transcripts of all college-level coursework. Transcripts must state that the Degree(s) has been conferred or awarded.

SRJC only accepts foreign transcripts that have been evaluated by a credential evaluation service accredited by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
