Role Summary

The Environmental Services Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for Veterans and their families. Working in a healthcare setting, you will be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The duties of the Environmental Services Attendant encompass a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Performing comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and common areas to meet health standards.
  • Managing waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
  • Restocking supplies in various locations as needed.
  • Working independently or collaboratively to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, with scheduling based on the needs of the facility.

Qualifications

While specific experience is not mandated, candidates should demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the role through relevant training or experience.

Physical Requirements

The position requires physical stamina, including walking, standing, and lifting, and may involve the use of heavy cleaning equipment.
