Senior Behavioral Health Program Director

A dynamic not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping underserved individuals in the Bay Area has an exciting opening for a Senior Behavioral Health Program Director. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in the local community by developing, implementing, and managing behavioral health programs that align with the company's mission.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and manage teams. In-depth knowledge of behavioral health regulations and standards is essential, as well as excellent strategic planning and project management skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services across the organization, establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and advocating for the importance of behavioral health within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development, implementation, and management of behavioral health programs to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals
• Establish and maintain relationships with employees, management, and external partners to promote a culture of mental health awareness and support
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to behavioral health services, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Lead and train graduate students in behavioral health, providing coaching and guidance as needed
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral health programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes
• Advocate for the importance of behavioral health within the organization, promoting a culture of mental health awareness and support
Requirements:
• A PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
• A valid California license in Psychology with 6 hours of supervision CE hours
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health, with a focus on program development and management
• Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
• In-depth knowledge of behavioral health regulations and standards
• Excellent strategic planning and project management skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
