Housekeeping Professionals

About the Role:

Aramark is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities and operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive and efficient customer service demeanor towards guests, clients, and colleagues.
• Ensure all assigned areas, including corridors and ancillary spaces, are clean, neat, and sanitary, adhering to preventative maintenance procedures.
• Inspect and use judgment to determine the most effective cleaning techniques, following orientation guidelines.
• Demonstrate safe and efficient use of housekeeping equipment and solutions, as observed by supervisors.
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment, and employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keep carts stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
• Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
• Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence by adhering to component and departmental training commitments.

Requirements:

• Past cleaning experience preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
• Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.

Physical Demands:

This role may involve physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
