Job Summary:

This position is responsible for directly commissioning, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on IEM products. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to switchgear, PLC controls, generator controls, and networking equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission and troubleshoot IEM products at customer sites.
  • Provide automation and networking support and commissioning training to field service engineers and technicians.
  • Assist with project start-up and resolving punch list items found at the job.
  • Identify project areas of risk that may adversely affect success of subordinate technicians.
  • Work with the Field Service Manager in scheduling additional field resources and/or teams to cover service needs.
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree in Engineering, and/or related field experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to switchgear, PLC controls, generator controls, and networking equipment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer presence is a must.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Travel is required.

  • Electrical Switchgear Commissioning: 4 years.
