Job Summary

Don Roberto Jewelers is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of clientele through personal and professional engagement
  • Provide product knowledge and make recommendations to customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with store openings and closings, and secure merchandise
  • Process product exchanges or returns within company policy guidelines
  • Assist with seasonal decorating, unpacking of new shipments, and prepares outgoing shipments
  • Maintain company dress code, professional behavior, and neatness at all times
  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly performance quotas
Requirements
  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred | Additional language skills, a plus
  • Active listening and monitoring skills
  • Computer and Internet abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Dependability | Collaborative | Teamwork
  • Strong attention to detail | Organizational
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push a minimum of 20Lbs
Working Conditions

  • While performing the duties of this position, the Sales Associate is regularly required to talk and hear. The Sales Associate frequently is required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The Sales Associate is required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The Sales Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to a minimum of 20 pounds and pull/push up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Environmental Safety

This position involves some exposure to products and equipment that may be hazardous or pose a physical risk. This position may involve some exposure to unusual elements for example dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises. You are required to follow all basic safety precautions and procedures.
