Quality Assurance Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring product quality and compliance with established standards. The successful candidate will report to the Quality Control Manager and will be instrumental in conducting thorough product inspections and compliance audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing drawings and specifications, applying relevant procedures and standards to guarantee product compliance.
  • Notify production staff of any non-conforming products and provide training on testing and inspection methods.
  • Document and monitor quality nonconformance, ensuring proper handling and quarantine of affected materials.
  • Engage in identifying and resolving root causes of quality issues.
  • Maintain, archive, and retrieve quality, testing, and inspection reports through both physical and digital means.
  • Conduct re-tests on materials that have been rejected during production or storage.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools such as tape measures and laser levels is preferred.
