Inova Health System is seeking a skilled professional to fill a Fetal Echocardiography position in Burke, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and attend in-services and meetings.
- Demonstrate patient safety by using side rails, braking mechanisms, and patient monitoring.
- Report, document, and correct any adverse, unsafe, or unusual conditions.
- Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
- Operate imaging and other related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday schedule.
- Location: Willow Oaks.
- Graduate of an accredited school or program of diagnostic medical sonography or five years of specialized training in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- One year of experience in a hospital or healthcare environment in the performance of specialized diagnostic medical sonography.
- Certification: ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT registered with RVT/RVS/VS or RDMS/ARRT with at least two sonographer specialties.
