Fetal Echocardiography Specialist

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Fetal Echocardiography Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal-fetal sonography and the ability to detect fetal anomalies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
• Provide clinical services according to specialized maternal fetal ultrasound practice standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical maternal-fetal history and informed consent.
• Assist physicians in performing CVS, Amniocentesis, and image optimization studies.

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Successful completion of the Inova Nuchal Translucency (NT) Program and Cervical Length Assessment Program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics & Gynecology certification.
• Two years of hospital or doctor's office-based experience in specialized maternal-fetal sonography.
• Associate's Degree in Ultrasonography or a graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school with a specialty of five plus years on-the-job training.
