At Tel Hai Retirement Community, we are seeking a skilled Med Tech to join our team. As a Med Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with medications as prescribed and in an accurate and appropriate manner, ensuring resident health and safety in compliance with State regulations.
  • Assist residents in maintaining health with accurate blood pressure checks, prescribed dietary supplements, encouragement of exercise and participation in activities, and extra assistance during resident illness as directed by LPN Team Leader.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and managing incontinence, while strictly adhering to safety and sanitary precautions.
  • Assist residents with tasks of daily living, such as telephone use, processing laundry, tidying up the bedroom, and transporting to and from appointments.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • CNA or high school diploma/GED required.
  • Current Med Tech Certification preferred. Will consider re-training if prior experience as a Med Tech or training nursing students and others with related experience.
