Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. As a Travel LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide delegated aspects of direct patient care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Make decisions based on education, experience, and hospital/departmental policy and procedures, demonstrating critical thinking skills and scientific judgment.
  • Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements.
  • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available, providing direction and supervision as needed.
  • Implement physician's orders and document patient information accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Acute Care Experience required, with a strong background in medical surgical nursing.
  • IV Certification required, with the ability to administer medications and perform other medical procedures as needed.
Schedule Information
