Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Becker Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our Registered Nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide delegated aspects of direct patient care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Make decisions based on education, experience, State Board of Nursing Rules and hospital/departmental policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
  • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
  • Perform physical examination and data collection, ADLs, education, medication administration, peripheral IV therapy, discharge planning, implementation of physician's orders and documentation.
Requirements
  • Acute Care Experience
  • IV Certification
  • BLS Required, ACLS Preferred
