Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at PedIM Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals with patient care, interacting with patients and their families, and ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Interact with patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of clinical activities, including maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform routine procedures, such as EKGs, ear lavages, and sterile dressing changes, under established protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date on policies and procedures, and maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in clinical areas.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training and certification preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
