Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including fabrication, installation, and testing.
- Install and maintain water supply lines, natural gas lines, sewer mains, detention ponds, and grading systems.
- Install and maintain building electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Operate heavy equipment, including wheeled and tracked machines, forklift trucks, and aerial lift equipment.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is required.
- Must be familiar with common welding terms, symbols, and procedures, including metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing tools.
- Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to perform various welding operations, including MIG, TIG, and Arc.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and general carpentry.
- Experience in maintaining commercial facilities during off-hours with no other maintenance staff present.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with healthcare, research, laboratory, and/or other critical/biomedical facilities.
Work schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
CompensationNon-exempt position paid hourly. Hourly Rate: Minimum $21.01, Mid-Point $28.221, Maximum $35.433. Annualized Salary: Minimum $43,700, Mid-Point $58,700, Maximum $73,700.
