Job Title: Registered Nurse - ER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at STHS ER Weslaco. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and making critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to promote trust and confidence in our care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research to provide evidence-based care.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Associate Degree, Baccalaureate Degree, or Diploma from a School of Nursing or University.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
