Director of Quality Control

Are you a seasoned quality control professional looking for a new challenge in the aviation industry? We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality Control to join our team at Go Fly 365.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Quality Control Systems: Design and implement effective quality control processes to ensure our cargo operations meet and exceed FAA regulations and guidelines.
  • Implement and Maintain FAA Regulations: Stay up-to-date with the latest FAA regulations and guidelines related to cargo operations and ensure our team is compliant.
  • Ensure Safe and Effective Cargo Handling: Oversee the development and implementation of safe and effective cargo handling procedures to prevent accidents and ensure the highest level of quality.
  • Train and Manage Quality Control Inspectors: Train and manage a team of quality control inspectors and auditors to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct Regular Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify any non-conformance issues and work with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality control processes are integrated into all aspects of cargo operations.
  • Review and Update Quality Control Manuals: Review and update quality control manuals and procedures as needed to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
  • Provide Regular Reports: Provide regular reports to upper management on the status of quality control processes and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a quality control role in aviation, with experience in Part 125 Cargo Operations.
  • Knowledge of FAA Regulations: Knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines related to cargo operations.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and manage a team of quality control inspectors and auditors.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
