Job Summary

The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of skilled and semi-skilled workers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial product manufacturing, with experience in low-volume or one-off weld and fabrication. They will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products, as well as meeting production targets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of production staff to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality products
  • Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sourcing, and quality assurance
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of industrial product manufacturing, including weld symbols and blueprints
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
