Job Overview

Position Summary

Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) is a pioneering organization dedicated to delivering comprehensive family services and innovative educational programs for young children, from birth to five years old. We are seeking to expand our Family Service Team by adding a Family Service Worker.


Key Responsibilities

As a Family Service Worker, your primary duties will include:

  • Engaging families to foster a supportive environment.
  • Providing referrals for necessary services based on family needs.
  • Facilitating the recruitment and enrollment process for families, including managing intake and eligibility assessments.
  • Overseeing a designated caseload of families.
  • Collaborating with external service agencies to enhance support.
  • Working closely with educational staff to ensure holistic family support.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar field.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or Social Work is mandatory.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
