Job Summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements.
  • Function within the framework of your license and the policy and procedures of the organization, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
  • Guide ancillary staff and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the provision of quality nursing care.
  • Blend compassion, caring, and technologically appropriate competency to provide holistic care to patients.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an LPN program.
  • New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for, preferred Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting. If working in the Emergency Department, ALS/ACLS and PALS required (LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date).
