Role Responsibilities:

Conduct radiographic examinations at a technical level, requiring minimal supervision on technical aspects. Take ownership of the procedures executed. Perform additional related tasks as necessary.

Qualifications for Radiologic Technologist:
  • Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and have completed the necessary clinical hours. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensure: State licensure may be necessary based on the specific state regulations.
  • Certification/Registration: Must hold ARRT registry for the state of Kansas.
  • Experience: Must have gained sufficient experience and demonstrate competency as deemed appropriate for the role.
  • Additional Skills: Proficient technical skills in radiologic procedures and a solid understanding of basic anatomy. The individual must be capable of: operating x-ray machinery, including mobile units; handling cassettes; selecting and adjusting exposure parameters; assessing radiographs; lifting, moving, and transporting patients; maintaining continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency scenarios; adapting to high-pressure situations; and communicating effectively.
Equipment Proficiency: The individual should be adept in using radiographic machinery, radiographic processors, and computers.
