Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service: Set the standard by providing outstanding service.
  • Foster customer satisfaction, repeat business, and loyalty through positive interactions.
  • Oversee daily operations and manage the team to meet customer expectations.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to ensure a positive experience for every customer, including:

  • Managing outside areas such as gas pump islands and customer waiting areas.
  • Coordinating daily store operations and staffing based on business needs.
  • Ensuring all operational procedures are followed and assets are secured.

Lead, manage, and mentor employees:

  • Provide daily guidance and coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Develop employees through effective training and feedback.
  • Create a positive and professional work environment aligned with Waterway's values.

Qualifications:
Must possess a valid driver's license; an associate's degree or higher is preferred, or at least 2 years of experience in:

  • Supervisory or management roles, ideally in retail or hospitality.
  • Professional sales (B2B or B2C).
  • Military leadership.

Availability to work a retail schedule (5 of 7 days, 45 hours, including weekends and holidays) is required. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:
Work will be conducted outdoors year-round, with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. Physical demands include:

  • Extended periods of standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintaining a fast pace and consistent physical effort.

Vision and hearing capabilities are essential for effective communication and safety. Regular attendance and punctuality are critical for this role.
