Waterway's Learn 2 Lead Management Development Program is unique:
- Highly structured – distinct levels with clear training and objectives, ensuring you know exactly what is required for promotion.
- Mentorship at every stage – we support your growth every day.
Gain insights into running a Waterway location (or any business) and accelerate your career growth within our organization. You will oversee the location and lead a large team of hourly employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service: Set the standard by providing outstanding service.
- Foster customer satisfaction, repeat business, and loyalty through positive interactions.
- Oversee daily operations and manage the team to meet customer expectations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to ensure a positive experience for every customer, including:
- Managing outside areas such as gas pump islands and customer waiting areas.
- Coordinating daily store operations and staffing based on business needs.
- Ensuring all operational procedures are followed and assets are secured.
Lead, manage, and mentor employees:
- Provide daily guidance and coaching to enhance team performance.
- Develop employees through effective training and feedback.
- Create a positive and professional work environment aligned with Waterway's values.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid driver's license; an associate's degree or higher is preferred, or at least 2 years of experience in:
- Supervisory or management roles, ideally in retail or hospitality.
- Professional sales (B2B or B2C).
- Military leadership.
Availability to work a retail schedule (5 of 7 days, 45 hours, including weekends and holidays) is required. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements:
Work will be conducted outdoors year-round, with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions. Physical demands include:
- Extended periods of standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Maintaining a fast pace and consistent physical effort.
Vision and hearing capabilities are essential for effective communication and safety. Regular attendance and punctuality are critical for this role.
