Chief Medical Officer - Heart Health

Ochsner Health seeks a seasoned Cardiologist to serve as Chief Medical Officer for our Heart Health Program.

About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the strategic direction and operations of our Heart Health Program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices, guidelines, and protocols to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Cultivate partnerships with healthcare stakeholders, industry leaders, and community organizations to promote cardiovascular health and wellness.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles, with a track record of driving quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
