Adjunct Professor of American Sign Language

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to teach American Sign Language courses at Collin College. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging coursework that reflects the college's core values and knowledge of culturally responsive teaching.
Responsibilities- Teach American Sign Language courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow approved course descriptions and syllabi.
- Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations, including evening and weekend programs.
- May include Dual Credit courses.
- Master's degree in the discipline/qualifying field or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline/qualifying field.
- Qualifying fields include: American Sign Language, Sign Language Studies, Deaf Studies, Deaf Education, Teaching American Sign Language, Communication Disorders or Deaf Education.
- Teaching experience is desired.
