The Clinical Virtual Patient Coordinator, LPN, plays a crucial role in the MUSC Strategy and Virtual Solutions team. This position reports to the Director of Strategy and Virtual Solutions, with oversight by the Executive Medical Director. The Clinical Virtual Patient Coordinator, LPN, is responsible for developing and ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and success of virtual care programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provides clinical input and supervision during the strategy and design phases of Telehealth Service Development initiatives.
- Ensures successful transition of the clinical components of new services as they enter into the implementation phase of operations.
- Communicates follow-up clinical results and related health education to patients, providers, and practices.
- Processes patient referrals as requested.
- Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program with six months of patient care experience required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care philosophy as evidenced by effective communication skills, professional demeanor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
