Position Overview

The Financial Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive financial strategies and investment solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of both individual and business clients. This role involves evaluating clients' investment portfolios and financial goals, offering expert guidance to help them achieve their financial aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Advisor will actively cultivate a client base to which suitable wealth management products can be offered. Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and assessing information regarding clients' risk tolerance, long-term and short-term objectives, income, assets, investments, and liabilities; determining the most appropriate products to address clients' needs.
  • Providing clients with insights on the benefits, risks, and drawbacks of various financial products.
  • Building internal referral networks to identify existing clients.
  • Recognizing external opportunities and establishing new client relationships.
  • Spotting cross-selling opportunities, including referrals to other bank representatives through effective client profiling and needs-based selling.
  • Understanding and adhering to all bank policies and regulations governing product sales.
  • Maintaining all necessary licenses and registrations as mandated.
  • Completing all required training promptly.
  • Delivering exceptional service to enhance product promotion and strengthen client relationships.
  • Exceeding client expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism.

Qualifications

The ideal Financial Advisor should possess a strong sales and customer service orientation, demonstrating a genuine passion for building professional and mutually beneficial relationships with a diverse clientele. Candidates should be self-driven and motivated to surpass expectations in all endeavors. Additional qualifications include:

  • FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 or FINRA Series 7, 66 (Required)
  • Life & Health Insurance license (Required)
  • Proven sales, marketing, and business development capabilities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a producing advisor.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
