Government Relations Manager

VusionGroup SA is seeking a highly skilled Government Relations Manager to join our Americas Government Relations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing federal trade association strategy and positioning, as well as federal and state policy strategy and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute federal trade association strategy and positioning
  • Develop and execute federal and state policy strategy and communications
  • Advance VusionGroup's federal and state government relations and advocacy agenda
  • Coordinate site visits and meetings with key regulatory stakeholders
  • Lead and update Senior Leadership Team on government relations projects

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 2-5 years of relevant work experience, including federal legislative, regulatory/agency, trade association, corporate, or campaign experience focusing on issues relevant to technology and/or retail
  • Skills:
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
    • Ability to take on new responsibilities as needed by the company
    • Strong natural leader with high integrity and team-focused mentality
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with experience talking to internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Experience in creating and updating project management documents
    • Excellent organizational skills
