We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school district near Statesville, NC.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students, conduct evaluations, and assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in developing and implementing therapy plans.
Responsibilities- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Work closely with the supervising SLP to develop and implement therapy plans.
- Valid SLPA license or certification in North Carolina.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under the supervision of an SLP.
