Job Responsibilities

As a Backend Engineer Lead at Merge API, you will be responsible for participating in roadmapping and architecture discussions, producing high-quality, production-ready code, leading large projects from inception to production, and supporting your team of peers. You will also have the opportunity to work with Python and Go, as well as extensive knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres preferred).

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $150,000 - $225,000 per year, based on factors such as skill set, years of experience, and certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees receive an equity compensation package and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including unlimited PTO + 10 company holidays, pre-tax commuter benefits, 100% covered health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401K Plan, a $200 one-time home office stipend, and in-office snacks and free dinner when working past 7pm.
