Position Overview: The role involves assisting law enforcement investigations and overseeing an analytic portfolio that addresses issues related to domestic terrorism, violent extremism, and threats to public safety. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, outstanding analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills, along with a proactive approach to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, reviewing, organizing, analyzing, and distributing sensitive intelligence and data to various law enforcement agencies and partners.
  • Conducting thorough research on documents, reports, and online materials, employing structured analytic techniques, and summarizing findings for reports and presentations.
  • Utilizing a range of software tools, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications, as well as geospatial and social network analysis platforms.
  • Engaging in effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
  • Adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements concerning criminal intelligence and data sharing, while ensuring the protection of privacy and civil liberties.
  • Demonstrating the ability to use analytic software with minimal training and independently producing tactical analysis and investigative support.

Required Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of privacy and civil rights issues within the intelligence cycle.
  • Familiarity with the National Threat Evaluation and Reporting Program and the Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative.
  • Expertise in behavioral threat assessment related to both domestic and international affairs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Experience in writing intelligence assessments for law enforcement or intelligence community consumers.
  • Prior analytic experience within law enforcement agencies or fusion centers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Level 3: High School/GED with nine years of experience; Bachelor's Degree with four years of experience; Master's Degree with two years of experience.
  • Level 4: High School/GED with eleven years of experience; Bachelor's Degree with six years of experience; Master's Degree with four years of experience.

Additional Information: Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug test as a condition of employment and be eligible for a national security clearance at the Top Secret level.
