Our traveling senior mechanics are tasked with supporting local maintenance teams at various sites. These professionals are responsible for repairing, overhauling, or modifying vehicles and equipment that are intricate, involve diverse systems, or present particularly challenging issues due to the lack of applicable guidelines. The vehicles and equipment consist of numerous interconnected and complex mechanical and non-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize sound judgment and independence to determine the methods and techniques necessary for resolving exceptionally complex maintenance and repair challenges.
- Plan and adapt repair procedures, innovatively modifying items to fit into systems for which they were not originally designed, or diagnosing and rectifying defects when existing methods fail to yield the desired outcomes.
- Independently decide on work methods, sequences, tools, and equipment necessary for executing extensive and intricate repairs on vehicles and equipment.
- Oversee a variety of systems or the entire vehicle, focusing on the repair, overhaul, or modification of engines, transmissions, and other major systems.
- Develop or improvise methods, alter components, and perform repairs in the absence of technical guidelines.
- Modify parts to ensure compatibility with systems for which they were not intended.
- Implement modifications to equipment to rectify recurring malfunctions or design alterations to meet specific testing requirements or unique needs.
- Employ specialized diagnostic tools to identify issues in advanced electric and electronic systems, replacing defective components such as chips, sensors, and printed circuit boards.
