Job Title: Telecommunications Designer

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Designer to join our team at Triple C - The A&E Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and managing technical design and specifications development for telecommunications systems.

The Telecommunications Designer will work closely with our team of mechanical engineers, architects, interior designers, civil engineers, subconsultants, and owners to provide expertise in the full-project cycle from design through construction, primarily within the healthcare market.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of BICSI standards, EIA/TIA standards, and NEC, and will be proficient in Revit and other design software. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage technical design and specifications development for telecommunications systems
  • Work closely with the project team to provide expertise in the full-project cycle from design through construction
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of BICSI standards, EIA/TIA standards, and NEC
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and site visits

Requirements:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in design and management of telecommunications systems
  • Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification
  • Proficiency in Revit and other design software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
