Maintenance Mechanic
Maintenance Technician/ Electrical Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Maintenance Technician executes a wide range of tasks, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs of machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
  • This encompasses both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including urgent repairs.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance while ensuring accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out necessary maintenance and servicing.
  • Identify issues, replace or repair components, and conduct testing and adjustments.
  • Recognize faulty operations and defective materials, reporting any irregularities to the facility maintenance manager.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office for ordering and scheduling parts and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to safety practices and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) consistently.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot both AC and DC drives.
  • Work in a manufacturing setting, with exposure to various machinery, noise levels, and temperature variations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager and collaborate with line workers, Leads, Supervisors, and Plant Manager.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Accurate record-keeping and data entry skills.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of creative problem-solving.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in welding and fabrication, with a comprehensive understanding of three-phase electrical systems and motor controls.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate respectfully.
  • Capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

This position is temporary to hire, with shifts available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
