Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing effective treatment plans, and delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages and abilities.
You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and families, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in physical therapy.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical function and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapies, to address specific patient needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including notes, reports, and assessments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate preferred
- Valid licensure in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for prolonged periods
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records software
