Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Technician to join our team at Universal Truck Service. As a Mobile Technician, you will be responsible for responding to emergency roadside breakdowns and maintaining fleet trailers on-site at customers' locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and troubleshooting abilities on class 6, 7, and 8 trucks and semi-trailers. You will also be responsible for maintaining your service vehicle and equipment, communicating with customers and fleet managers, and completing basic repairs within estimated limits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain service vehicle and equipment
  • Communicate with customers and fleet managers
  • Complete basic repairs
  • Professionally type repair descriptions and close service orders

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's license required
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities on class 6, 7, and 8 trucks and semi-trailers
  • Computer skills and ability to adapt to new software programs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
