Night Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Security Operations:
Conduct regular inspections of the premises, ensuring all entry points are secure. Address unauthorized individuals appropriately and utilize emergency equipment as necessary. Document any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions promptly. - Assistance Response:
Maintain a high response rate to all assistance requests, ensuring immediate action unless engaged in an emergency. Monitor vehicle security and enforce parking regulations while assisting with adverse weather conditions. - Documentation:
Complete all necessary reports by the end of each shift, including incident reports and any significant occurrences. Communicate with the Security Supervisor regarding major incidents. - Incident Management:
Initiate thorough investigations for any security-related incidents, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation. Assist with patient transport and support medical staff as needed. - Policy Adherence:
Follow established protocols during emergencies and provide appropriate responses to potentially volatile situations. Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary. - Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure the functionality of security equipment through routine checks and maintenance. Keep the work environment organized and report any repair needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a security or customer service role, or equivalent education. Must be at least 18 years old. - Education:
High school diploma required; higher education is preferred. - Training:
Completion of specific security training programs within a designated timeframe post-hire. - Skills:
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with effective de-escalation techniques. - Certifications:
Valid Driver's License, BLS certification, and IAHSS Basic Certification required within specified periods.
