Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Technology Specialist to join our team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital(WDH). As a Sleep Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting polysomnography tests, analyzing sleep data, and providing patient education and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct polysomnography tests to diagnose and treat sleep disorders
  • Analyze sleep data to identify patterns and abnormalities
  • Provide patient education and support to help them understand their sleep disorder and treatment options
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest sleep technology and research to provide the best possible care for patients

Requirements

  • Two or more years of clinical experience in polysomnography with RPSGT or RRT-SDS
  • Successful completion of an accepted sleep technology training program or equivalent experience
  • RPSGT with at least 2 years of sleep lab experience or RRT-SDS with 3 years sleep lab experience
  • Computer manipulation, verbal and written communication skills, mechanical aptitude, ability to work in a collaborative manner, ability to make effective judgments and decisions based on objective criteria
  • Able to work the night shift (7pm-7am)
  • RPSGT OR SDS-RRT and ARC or AHA BLS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three or more years of clinical experience in polysomnography with RPSGT or RRT-SDS
  • Successful completion of an accepted sleep technology training program or equivalent experience
  • RPSGT with at least 2 years of sleep lab experience or RRT / REEGT with 3 years sleep lab experience
