Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at Marathon Cheese Corporation. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee quality systems, inspection, and testing to ensure compliance with federal, state, and customer regulations.
  • Supervise a team of quality technicians, lab technicians, and cheese graders to ensure effective quality control and assurance.
  • Develop and implement quality programs, including Preventive Controls/HACCP, Food Defense, and internal/external audits.
  • Collaborate with plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable plant operations.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and customer complaints.
  • Develop and maintain quality records and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of quality assurance experience in a food processing and manufacturing operation.
  • Ability to supervise direct reports and lead quality teams.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain certification in Preventive Controls/HACCP.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other quality management systems.
