About the PositionThe Associate Director of Athletics Engagement and Events will be responsible for planning and executing events that support the university's mission and goals. This includes coordinating with the Director of Athletics Engagement, coaches, and senior administrators to develop event strategies, communicate with stakeholders, and manage event logistics.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
The Associate Director will also be responsible for managing event budgets, developing sponsorship proposals, and building relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate with the Director of Athletics Engagement, coaches, and senior administrators to plan and execute events that support the university's mission and goals.
- Sponsorship Development: Develop and implement sponsorship strategies to secure funding for events and programs.
- Volunteer Management: Manage and oversee the direct oversight of specific individual event budgets, managing and accounting for all event income associated.
