We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant / Front Desk professional to join our team in Tacoma, WA. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing excellent patient care and are eager to make a difference.

Job SummaryThe Medical Assistant / Front Desk will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting clinical staff in their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong ability to multitask.

This position involves working closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to strict protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient experience by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage front desk operations, including patient registration, scheduling appointments, and handling billing inquiries.
  • Support clinical staff by preparing patients for exams, collecting vital signs, and ensuring that necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both manual and electronic, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical administration or a related field is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
