Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Collaborating with production teams to ascertain the availability of tooling and testing equipment for transfer.
  • Coordinating the physical movement of all relevant tooling and testing equipment to the designated shipping area.
  • Creating a project timeline and delivering regular updates on project progress.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.

We are seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Specialist who is a proactive, motivated team player capable of innovative problem-solving in a dynamic aerospace setting. The candidate must possess the ability to read and interpret part drawings and aviation-related specifications, as well as develop and understand manufacturing work instructions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Projects, Visio, and Outlook is essential. The candidate should be skilled in identifying failure modes and conducting root cause corrective actions (RCCA). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to utilize calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and feature checking gauges to assess part conformity is necessary. Understanding part and assembly Bill of Materials (BOM) structure is also important. Experience in collaborating with both internal and external suppliers and customers is preferred. The candidate should be able to identify opportunities for tooling and/or fixturing and make design recommendations. Experience in conducting time studies of manufacturing and/or assembly operations is a plus.
