Overview of the Department and Mentorship

Our Neurology department is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of neurological disorders, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented research assistant to join our team.

Role Summary and Objectives

The primary objective of this internship is to provide a comprehensive research experience for a Master's level student in the field of neurology. The intern will work closely with our team of researchers and clinicians to assist in the development of blood biomarkers, MRI, and clinical outcomes database for bioinformatics in stroke cerebrovascular disease research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and implementation of research studies
  • Conduct literature reviews and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records and logs
  • Assist in the preparation of manuscripts and presentations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of research projects

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. neuroscience, biology, psychology)
