Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Tri-Gas & Oil is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, repairing, diagnosing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing all types of HVAC equipment, including heating and cooling systems, air handlers, and thermostats.
  • Reading blueprints to diagnose, troubleshoot, and analyze malfunctions on HVAC units, ensuring efficient and effective repairs.
  • Replacing defective or worn parts and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Providing suggestions for increased energy efficiency and setting controls to ensure system functionality.
  • Installing and assisting with the installation of HVAC equipment when needed, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Meeting customer needs and providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Meeting quarterly goals and contributing to the growth and success of the company.
Requirements:

  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of service experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and equipment.
  • CFC/EPA Certificate required, with NATE Certification preferred but not required.
  • Good driving record with no more than 2 points on your license, and a valid driver's license.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Willing to cross-train others and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
  • Flexible with work hours and willing to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring 24/7 customer support.
Working Conditions:

This role involves driving a company vehicle, working in customers' homes and businesses, and exposure to various environmental conditions. You will be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, pull, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and may need to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
