As a Steel Reinforcement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the efficient fabrication of rebar. Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in training sessions related to the equipment used in the fabrication process.
- Assisting with the loading of finished rebar onto trailers and unloading raw materials.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including equipment upkeep.
- Operating various production machinery according to established safety protocols.
- Engaging in our comprehensive safety programs and actively contributing to a culture of safety.
- Utilizing rebar fabrication tools such as shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, threaders, and welders.
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to cross-train in different areas as needed.
- Adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safe working practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Capability to operate fabrication machinery independently and safely.
- Availability for overtime as required by business needs.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and endure long periods of standing.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Preferred experience in a heavy industrial setting, though not mandatory.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is preferred.
