Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Newport Mental Health, where you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require integrated care, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in Rhode Island.
  • Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
